Visitors of the World Rowing Championships are advised to travel to the Bosbaan by bike or public transportation. The Bosbaan is easily accessible by public transportation, and a large bike rack has been set up right at the entrance for cyclists. If you do plan to come by car, please note that you cannot park at the Bosbaan itself; you are asked to park your car at the RAI Amsterdam and continue your journey from there.

Come by bike

De Bosbaan is easily accessible by bike. During the World Championships, there will be a free bike parking area at the entrance to our grounds with space for over 4,000 bikes. For this reason, we recommend coming to De Bosbaan by bike.

Public Transport

The Bosbaan is quick and easy to reach from various stations in the Amsterdam area. The fold-out schedule below shows the connections and travel times from the surrounding stations. If you’re coming from farther away, plan your trip via NS or 9292.nl

In addition, you can take advantage of various discounts when traveling to De Bosbaan. Groups can use NS group tickets during off-peak hours. Children up to and including age 11 travel for free with Kids Vrij or with an affordable Railrunner ticket. In Amstelland-Meerlanden, children also travel for free on the bus.
