HOUSE AND ADMISSION RULES
Visiting the Staatsloterij World Rowing Championships 2026 and/or participating in any of the activities is entirely at your own risk.
Access
Access is only permitted with a valid ticket.
Re-entry is not permitted. Once you leave the event site, you cannot re-enter.
The organisation reserves the right to inspect bags, coats, and visitors. Visitors may be searched. If you choose not to cooperate, access to the event may be denied.
You are required to follow the directions and instructions of the organisation, security personnel, traffic controllers, and other staff on and around the event grounds.
Safety
Entering the water is strictly prohibited. This is for your own safety and the safety of the rowers.
Emergency exits, evacuation routes, and passageways must remain clear at all times.
Prohibited items It is not permitted to bring the following items onto the event grounds:
Bringing dogs onto the grounds is not permitted.
Bringing a chair onto the grounds is not permitted.
Bags larger than A4 size or thicker than 10 cm, and other items that do not fit under a grandstand seat.
Own food and drinks, including glassware, cans, plastic bottles, alcohol, and cool boxes. An empty refillable water bottle is permitted.
Drugs and nitrous oxide (laughing gas).
Weapons and hazardous objects, including weapon replicas, fireworks, flares, gas burners, (disposable) barbecues, and aerosol cans, with the exception of sunscreen, deodorant, and perfume.
Umbrellas and stools.
Sound systems, megaphones/horns, and similar devices.
Flags with a stick longer than one metre.
Provocative or politically charged statements, on clothing or otherwise. The event is politically neutral.
Promotional material, flyers, brochures, banners, and other marketing materials.
Professional film, photo, and audio equipment, selfie sticks, and drones (both on the ground and in the air), unless prior permission or accreditation has been granted by the organisation.
Pets, with the exception of assistance dogs.
Visitors may bring a smartphone, a small digital compact camera, or a GoPro for personal use. Confiscated items will be disposed of and not stored.
Conduct
Undesirable, disruptive, aggressive, or discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated.
The organisation reserves the right to deny admission to or remove visitors from the event grounds based on their behaviour.
Alcohol and smoking
Smoking on the event grounds is prohibited.
Visitors under the age of 18 are not permitted to purchase, accept, or consume alcohol.
The organisation reserves the right to refuse the service of alcohol to visitors who are intoxicated or misbehaving.
Photo, video, and audio recordings During the Staatsloterij World Rowing Championships 2026, photos, video, and audio recordings will be made. By entering the event grounds, you consent to potentially appearing in these recordings. These recordings may be used for promotional, commercial, and security purposes.
Recording with professional video or audio equipment is only permitted with prior permission or accreditation from the organisation.
Liability The organisation and its staff are not liable for the loss, theft, or damage of visitors’ personal property.
Final provisions In any situation not covered by these house and admission rules, the organisation will decide. This decision is binding.
