The first three days of the Staatsloterij World Rowing Championships are a wrap, and what an incredible amount of rowing spectacle we have already enjoyed at the Bosbaan. From thrilling heats to great (semi-)final spots for TeamNL Rowing: the tone has been set right from the start. Looking ahead to the final days, it’s only going to get better, more exciting, and above all, even more vibrant from here on out.
While the rowers battle for medals on the water, there is plenty to experience on the waterfront as well. Especially on Thursday and Friday, it’s party time at the Bosbaan with a fantastic music line-up you absolutely do not want to miss!
Thursday = Student Day: and that means only one thing: great vibes!
Thursday is the official Student Day, and we’re celebrating with a spectacular music programme fully geared towards students! Behind the decks are the DJs from rowing club Gyas and DansMaar, the DJ collective from Argo. With these student DJs on the turntables, it promises to be a fantastic evening packed with the best student hits and ultimate sing-alongs.
Get ready for a great party! Because there is no rowing without students! Whether you’ve just rolled out of intro week or have been a rowing club member for years, this is the day to experience student rowing culture. Test your strength on the ergometer and join the cool activities organised by rowing club Okeanos.

On Friday, we’re keeping this festive atmosphere going to dance our way into the weekend together. The racing schedule of the Staatsloterij World Rowing Championships may be over for the day, but with LORIN & MEIMA behind the decks, you definitely won’t want to go home yet.
