Tickets

Where can I buy tickets for the 2026 World Rowing Championship?

The official ticket shop will go live on August 26, 2025. The link will be published on this website.

Click here for a full overview of all prices. All prices include 9% VAT. The handling fee is also calculated including 9% VAT and is €1.50 per ticket.

There are various ticket types available, including adult tickets (13+), kids tickets (ages 5–12), and wheelchair tickets (combined with a companion ticket). Note: wheelchair tickets are limited per day.

Ticket types:

  • Day ticket – Venue: Access to the venue only, no grandstand access.

  • Day ticket – Grandstand: Access to both the venue and the grandstand.

  • Week ticket – GA: Access to the venue for all event days (Aug 24–30, 2026), no grandstand access.

  • Weekend ticket – GA: Access to the venue on the weekend (Sat, Aug 29 & Sun, Aug 30, 2026), no grandstand access.

  • Week ticket – Grandstand: Access to the venue and grandstand for all event days.

  • Weekend ticket – Grandstand: Access to the venue and grandstand on the weekend.

Yes, kids tickets are available for each day. The child must be 5 to 12 years old on the day of the event, not at the time of purchase.

Children up to 5 years old can enter for free, but if you have a grandstand ticket, they must sit on your lap.

Yes, in the ticket shop you can purchase an accessible ticket, which automatically includes a companion ticket. This ticket provides access to the venue but not to the grandstand. The organization is still exploring whether a wheelchair platform will be built. You will be informed by email once more information is available.

It may take some time for your order to be processed. Please also check your spam folder. If you still cannot find it, contact the organization at info@wrchamsterdam2026.com.

Grandstand seats will be assigned at a later stage. Once the allocation has been made, you will receive further details by email. Seating is assigned on a first come, first served basis. Note: the grandstand will not be covered.

If you ordered grandstand tickets in two separate orders, the organization cannot guarantee you will be seated together. To ensure this, place all tickets in one order.

Tickets for different types (e.g. a Passe Partout and a day ticket) cannot be placed together.

For groups of more than 20 people, send your request to info@wrchamsterdam2026.com.

Include the following details:

  • Group/club name

  • Attention to (T.a.v.)

  • Email address to receive the tickets

  • Number of adult (13+) and kids (5–12) tickets

    • Children under 5 years can enter for free

  • Desired date(s)

  • Ticket type: day or grandstand tickets

  • Invoice details:

    • Company/club name and attention to (T.a.v.)

    • Address, postal code, city, country

    • Email address for invoice

    • VAT number (if applicable)

The schedule will be announced at a later date and published on this website.

The organization does not offer refunds. Always double-check the date and match before purchasing.

However, changing your ticket to a different date or ticket type is possible depending on availability. This can be done in the My Order environment, which is created automatically after you place an order. The link is in your confirmation email.

No. The organization does not accept returns or provide refunds. Please double-check your chosen date and match before purchasing.

It is strictly prohibited to resell or commercially offer your ticket.

However, it is allowed to transfer or resell a ticket to another private individual, provided that:

  • The tickets are for personal use only.

  • The resale price is no higher than the original ticket price, plus the paid handling fee.

  • The new ticket holder accepts the terms and conditions listed on this website.

The original ticket purchaser remains responsible for correct use. Any attempt at unauthorized resale may result in ticket invalidation.

After completing your purchase, you’ll receive a confirmation by email. Tickets will be sent to you no later than two weeks before the event. Check your spam folder as well.

Tickets must be personalized. This can be done in the My Order environment, where you can also assign tickets to others so they can personalize their own.

If you can’t find your ticket(s), go to the My Order environment. The link is in your confirmation email. If you no longer have the email, contact info@wrchamsterdam2026.com.

Your ticket will be scanned on-site using secure scanners. You can present it digitally or printed (set your phone’s brightness to max). Staff will be available to assist.

No, parking tickets are not sold by the event organizers.

The organization is not responsible for accommodation.

Opening hours depend on the program, which is not yet available. They will be published later on the website.

No. The event has a no re-entry policy.

Yes, a lost and found will be available at the information desk on-site.

The following are not allowed at the event:

  • Professional filming, photography, or audio equipment

  • Drones (airborne or on the ground)

  • Bags larger than A4 size and thicker than 10 cm

  • Food and drinks

  • Glass, cans, or plastic bottles (refillable water bottles are allowed)

  • Drugs (soft or hard)

  • Nitrous oxide

  • Weapons or weapon-like items

  • Flags with poles over 1 meter

  • Aerosols (except sunscreen, deodorant, or perfume)

  • Gas stoves and disposable BBQs

  • Sound devices, air horns, or similar

  • Fireworks or flares

  • Provocative clothing

  • Coolers, foldable chairs, or stools

  • Items too large to fit under a grandstand seat

  • Pets (except service dogs)

  • Promotional materials (unless approved by the organizers)

  • Selfie sticks

  • Any prohibited items will be discarded and not stored.

Is it possible to attend the World Rowing Championships as a VIP guest?
